From the 21st of August the German artist Oliver Oefelein is residing in KCCC Art residency. This artist will stay until the 18th of September.

International exhibition „3+3 - young art from tree countries“ is a countinuous project in coorporation between The Artist House Lukas (Arenshoop, Germany) and Klaipeda Cultural Communication Centre together with Skånes Artist Assotiation Malmö in Sweden.
In the exhibition three young artists of three diferrent countries are participating. The Lithuanian artists such as Jolanta Tubutyte, Gytis Skudzinskas, Neringa ir Mindaugas Bumbliai have aready participated in this project. Until now, foreign artists from Germany and Sweden have been presenting their artworks during the exhibititions in Lithuania.

On 23rd of July three installations appeared in three different KCCC spaces and were exhibited there for more then a month. Beata Kozlowska, who arrived from London, exposed her installation titled „Pilgrimage“ in the courtyard of KCCC Exhibition Hall. Irene Anton (Berlin, Germany) presented two installations: the first one − „Key issues“ − is exposed in the KCCC Art&Craft courtyard and the second one − „Intervention invading network – net no. 27“ − is placed in KCCC Exhibition Hall. These two artists have been developing their projects during their stay in KCCC Art residency since early July.
